  • 1. What do I need to know about the Ms. Senior World Pageant?

    The Ms. Senior World Pageant brings women aged 50-79 together to boost confidence, have fun, make new friends, and allows mature women an outlet to share platform issues that are important to them with the other delegates and with the world.  It is a fabulous way to show the world the value senior women bring to their communities and their states. These senior ladies are very active in serving others and Ms. Senior World affords them a venue to share in a fabulous event where they are the center of attention.  It is a wonderful way to educate and empower the delegates and the audience by showing the World what they can accomplish. Ms. Senior World is the premiere pageant for Senior women.

  • 1. What do I need to know about the Ms. Senior World Pageant?

  • 2. What are the phases of competition?

    Delegates will compete in Interview, which accounts for 30% of the score; Active Wear, which accounts for 20% of the score; Runway Fashion, which accounts for 20% of the score and Evening Wear which accounts for 30% of the total score. 

  • 3. Is there a fee to participate in the competition?

    Yes, there is an entry fee that helps cover expenses incurred with the production of the pageant as well as various expenses for the delegates and titleholders. Payment arrangements are available. Payments must be paid in full within 90 days of the first payment and are non-refundable. Payments must be made no later than 30 days from the previous payment. Payments are accepted via PayPal or Business Check made payable to Senior World Pageants.

  • 4. What does the entry fee include?

    The entry fee includes a beautiful custom state delegate crown and custom sash, a headshot, name, and title in the program book, 30-minute consultation and Q&A with (Pageant Coach Queens) Fit to Reign Self Development, Pageant Coaching, and Personal Training, Dining Event, Queens Reception, Queens Swag Bag, and other fabulous prizes.


    Your headshot must be submitted to our marketing department by the deadline date per the MSW guidelines. 

  • 5. When may I apply for a state title?

    Applications will be available after the current year's national titles have been given.


    State titles will be appointed as the application with the fee is received. Delegates from the 50s, 60s, and 70s will be accepted from each state. 


  • 6. Where do I submit my application and other competition forms?

    Application and fee should be submitted online.  Fee must be paid by debit or credit card online, or by business check. Questions regarding the pageant should be directed to the Executive Director, Sara Jo Burks, director@seniorworldpageants.com

  • 7. Will I need a professional headshot?

    You will need a high-resolution headshot for the program book that is included with your entry fee. This picture will also be placed in the judges’ books. This should be head and shoulders only with no crown or sash.  No hats or hands-on faces.  The picture must be in Jpeg format.  For the best color and definition, a professional photographer is suggested.

  • 8. What are the wardrobe requirements?

    •Opening Number Outfit (TBD)

    •Interview Dress and/or Pantsuit

    •Active Wear Outfit

    •Runway Fashion Outfit

    •Evening Gown

    •Casual attire for practices

    •Dressy or Upscale casual wear for Orientation; On the town appearances

    •Cocktail dress/After Five attire for Meet & Greet reception and/or other events

  • 9. Where is the pageant held?

    The pageant is held on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Biloxi, Mississippi. Venue and host hotel information will be provided to the delegates.

  • 10. When will I be provided an itinerary for the pageant?

    Delegates will be provided an itinerary for pageant week no later than September 15th along with other information.

  • 11. Will I be expected to buy an ad for the program book?

    Each delegate is required to sell at least one ad equivalent to one full page for the  MSW program book. The ad can be in the form of one full-page ad, 2 half-page ads, 8 business card-sized ads, or a full signature page.


    We suggest you get sponsors to defray the cost. We will need camera ready pictures or artwork of high resolution.  Jpeg format usually works best. If desired, our marketing director can design the layout for the ad for a nominal fee.  Keep in mind that we do give an award for “Most Ads Sold” so you will want to give all your hometown friends, family, and merchants an opportunity to support you!

  • 12. If I am not named as a semi-finalist, will I still be in the competition finals?

    Yes. The non-finalists will still participate on stage throughout the evening. All contestants will participate in the finale’ and will be on stage for the crowning. 

  • 13. Do I need to pay for my meals while at the competition?

    Contestants are encouraged to bring any snacks that they may want to have handy. Delegates will want to always keep a bottle of water handy to stay hydrated. If you have any special dietary requirements, please plan, and bring those foods/drinks with you. When you receive your itinerary, it will state which meals will be provided.

  • 14. Is videotaping of the pageant allowed?

    No. Videotaping by members of the audience is prohibited. You will have the opportunity to purchase videotape and photo packages from our official photographers and videographers.  We do, however, encourage you to visit with your family and friends after the semi-finals and finals and take lots of pictures. 

  • 15. What other costs should I expect to participate in the pageant?

    Ms. Senior World works hard to provide a fabulous event and experience for the delegates. There are some additional costs to consider.


    • Travel, lodging and meals

    • Photographs and video purchase (optional)

    • Family and Friends attending will need to purchase tickets.

    • Wardrobe (Delegates will need an Interview dress or outfit, Active Wear Outfit, Runway Fashion Outfit, Evening Gown, and an Opening Number outfit which is TBD.)


  • 16. If I become a state delegate, what are my obligations?

    State delegates are required to compete in the Ms. Senior World Pageant and are encouraged to make at least one or more personal appearances each month. The crown and title will open doors for you to speak at clubs and organizations and share your platform issue, judge pageants, emcee events or attend ribbon cuttings and ride in parades. Your year will be what you choose to make it and we want it to be one of the “BEST” times of your life. We want you to make the world aware of the fact there is no expiration date on beauty. While competing at the pageant you are expected to behave in a manner becoming of a state titleholder. Regardless of who receives the National Title you are still a state titleholder and should strive to make your year of service the best it can be as a benchmark for future Queens. We are “Women Supporting Women” not just in words, but truly in spirit and in real life. 

  • 17. What are my obligations if I become Ms. Senior World?

    Titleholders must attend events following the pageant such as a Queen's reception or photoshoots. You will be expected to follow up with emails and text messages as you will be contacted sometimes daily with opportunities regarding photoshoots, appearances, and other exciting events. You should make at least one appearance each month to promote your personal platform or the platform issue that has been designated by the Pageant or make an appearance promoting the Ms. Senior World Pageant. You should touch base on a regular basis with the director or assistant director or contestant liaison and keep the pageant officials up to date on what appearances you are making.  Titleholders will be expected to return to the pageant the following year for pageant week and crowning of her successor.  Detailed information will be provided to Ms. Senior World Titleholders.

Judges’ Interview - 30 % of Total Score

Panel of judges’ interview with approximately 7 minutes per delegate.


Activewear - 20% of the Total Score

Your personal active lifestyle; such as tennis, aerobic, yoga, aquatic, equestrian, bowling, etc.


Fashion Runway - 20% of the Total Score

As a senior woman of today showcase your fashion, personality and style.


Evening Wear - 30% of the Total Score

Elegant evening gown segment where you display your grace, beauty, and sophistication, as well as the presentation of your gown.
