Drawing on more than 40 years of expertise in the pageant industry, Ms. Sherrill is recognized for excellence as a personal stylist. Presently, she is the operator of Queen D Consulting LLC, through which she provides clients with a wide array of consulting services. Her primary areas of service encompass pageantry, fashion and home décor. In this capacity, Ms. Sherrill’s responsibilities include conducting individual sessions with pageant contestants seeking preparation for interviews, in addition to assistance with general stage presence. She also provides personal fashion and wardrobe updating services as well as organization and styling for a variety of living spaces. 


Ms. Sherrill previously worked as a pageant consultant and wardrobe stylist for The Foxy Lady, an upscale women’s boutique providing daywear for all ages. Prior to that role, she contributed to the Iredell-Statesville School District as an educational administrator from 1986 until 2014.


Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Sherrill earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and commerce from Catawba College and a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Appalachian State University. She also completed doctoral coursework in educational leadership and cultural foundations at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 



Among her career accomplishments, Ms. Sherrill is particularly proud to have traveled to 28 states and worked as a director, judge, entertainer and choreographer within the pageant industry. She has garnered several industry honors including Miss Salisbury-Rowan 1979, Miss Western Piedmont 1982, Ms. Senior World 60s 2021 and Ms. South Carolina Senior America 2022. Additionally, she was named the Global Beauty Awards’ Best Rookie Contestant 2022.
